This is looking like it's LV Week, but Anne ANYWAY.
The LOUIS VUITTON Cruise showcase in Rio, Brazil next year well may be in the pipeline, online stalking* aside (but hell yeah!),

“Whilst I respect the patrimony of the house, I’m also here to look forward and create something new,” he backstage after his most recent S/S 2016 show. Phresh from trooping hacker/gamer avatars at Louis Vuitton Spring 2016 runway, Nicolas is currently on a trip in the land of Gisele Bunchen, and clearly into the next quest to tackle after PFW Fall 2016, the destination: Cidade Maravihosa (Marvelous City).

LV is synonymous with the idea of adventure hence where NG will pioneer us into has been full of anticipation. In other 'timely' news: The 2016 Met Exhibition and Opening Gala Theme has been announced: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.” The show will “explore the impact of new technology on fashion and how designers are reconciling the handmade and the machine-made in the creation of haute couture and avant-garde ready-to-wear,” according to a museum statement. “Traditionally, the distinction between the haute couture and prêt-à-porter was based on the handmade and the machine-made, but recently this distinction has become increasingly blurred as both disciplines have embraced the practices and techniques of the other,” said The Met's Costume Institute’s curator Andrew Bolton, who was recently just appointed to his role.
Nicolas Ghesquiere, who was quoted saying,
“We are all living with this new dimension. We are all managing how to integrate these new notions of digital, virtual, and cyber with our real life,"
will join Karl Lagerfeld and Miuccia Prada (RELATED: Is Miuccia Prada the most powerful and influential designer in fashion?) as honorary chairs in the exhibition debuting on May 2, 2016 with a gala, the Fashion Oscars, that will be hosted by co-chairs (the brooding) actor Idris Elba,
Taylor Swift, Sir Jonathan Ive of Apple
and VOGUE's Anna Wintour.
