For today's Wayback Wednesday, here's a post from my previous ~blog~:
We know Nicolas Ghesquière and his highly-technical works but let me talk about his good looks.
He used to look dorky as per my perusal in Style.com of his photos circa early 00's. Dorky but cute anyway.
Fast forward to the last seven years, the fashion darling's overall look has seen better days:
You cannot not be disenchanted by the fashionable stubble

Even his cartoon self (from the 2012 Disney animated short Electric Holiday) is adorkable
No, I'm not actually describing Nicholas Hoult. I digress.
We bet you are going to look again at those close-up photos for what Agnès B. (whose studio gave him his first break as an intern) describes in the latest magazine feature about Mr. Ghesquière, this time penned Ingrid Sischy for Vanity Fair:
“I remember his face. His eyes are strong and clear. There are the eyes and there is the look—le regard. His has something in common with Montgomery Clift."
I think she's talking more about Clift's lips.
Segue: Lolo was hot
Other trove of photos will prove you I'm right about what I'm talking about.

Back to the business of fas-yown: with the LV template of artisinal heritage + NG with his intellect and technical knowledge, this condensation to propel the luxury conglomerate's flagship brand to a whole new relevance (the debut collection of casual-luxe and youthful sportswear is refreshing) will be exciting to observe. And so will be NG's visibility. Please, Nicolas, 'wag mo masyadong i-peg ang pagiging press-shy ni Phoebe Philo. Kthnks.
New crush alert! Nics, try to look less serious (read: smile a lot, to look younger).
P.S. My LV dream has been revived. I wanna work for LV.
